Sunglasses

I recently bought Cole these stylish Spiderman sunglasses and he thinks he is one cool dude when he wears them!

This child constantly keeps me laughing! Gotta love toddlers and their carefree spirit!

Music and Movement

Cole and I went to a Music and Movement class on Monday hosted by a friend of mine, Joyce. She used to teach preschool, but since having a baby has decided to stay home and teach these classes on the side. Cole is still a little young for this class as he didn't want to sit still and didn't understand everything that we were doing. Nonetheless, we had fun and I captured a few shots of him in action.

Dancing before we headed out to class

The big parachute was fun!

Dancing!

Being 2! Who knows what upset him! :-)

And speaking of dancing, a couple of weeks ago Cole's friend Kaden came over to play. Kaden brought with him a kid's Motown music CD he had gotten at Wendy's. The boys wanted to hear the CD so I put it in and this is was I got. These two are too funny!

Small children are definitely a constant source of entertainment! ;-)

Choo Choo

We went to A Day Out With Thomas on Saturday in Baldwin City, Kansas and we all had such a great time. Cole is just now starting to get into Thomas, but like every other boy he LOVES trains. I remember going to this same thing in Alabama about 3 1/2 years ago with my sister and her kids. Jonathan and I were in the midst of our struggle to conceive at that time so what a blessing it was for us to go and take our own child this year.

On our way in:

Feeding the goats:

We saw our friends/neighbors the Combs there. Cole and Kaden dancing and saying "choo choo'". These two are a mess!

We also got to ride the train. It was a little steamy in there, but worth it.

We also saw our other friends/neighbors the Weyermullers. Adam, Cole and Kaden took a moment to pose (and again being silly boys)!

The blow up slide and bounce house were also a hit. I was so proud of Cole for climbing all the way up and then sliding. This boy is not scared of much!

Such a fun day! Hope they come again next year!

Memorial Day

I am so thankful for the wonderful, fun Memorial Day weekend we had. The weather was beautiful the entire time which made for lots of outdoor fun. We had a bbq here at our house with all of our wonderful neighbors. I didn't get too many pictures, probably because I was too busy eating. :-) We had the pool and the slip n' slide set up for the kids to play in.

Cole's patriotic outfit that he wore about 5 minutes! :-)

Conked out after a fun, but tiring weekend!

And of course a big THANK YOU to my husband and all the other troops who serve so selflessly so that I may enjoy all of my freedoms. God Bless!

Slip N' Slide FUN!

A couple from our church had our small group over Sunday night. We made homemade pizza and let the kids play on the slip n' slide. Cole had so much fun on the slip n' slide that I went to Wal-Mart the next day and bought one for him too. I didn't realize how inexpensive these things are. $5 and you can have hours of fun!

Run!

Crash!

Cole and Sammy- partners in crime! :-)

Cole also did alot of swinging!

We had a great time of food and fellowship and are so thankful for our church family!

The Great Wolf Lodge

We kicked off the long, holiday weekend by heading to the Great Wolf Lodge. Check in wasn't until after lunch so when we got there we went shopping at the Legends and had some yummy lunch at Dave and Buster's and Cole was able to run around and play there. We used to go to D&B's alot as a child. There was one located right in the heart of Atlanta near where we lived. So, going here brought back some childhood memories. :-)

After we ate and shopped, we headed over to the Great Wolf Lodge. I will start by saying that Cole wasn't so fond of this place. There were alot of kids and noise so it didn't set real well with him. Maybe we will try it again before we move. Regardless, we still had a great time and I am glad we went.

We went to McDonald's several times because they had a nice, big indoor playground. We joked that we could have saved alot of money and just went to McDonald's. :-)

On Saturday, we checked out of our room and headed to the Kansas City Zoo. This zoo is huge and there is so much to see and do. We all had a good time there!

We had to give a "Roll Tide" to the elephant :-)

The closest Cole will ever get to a lion

Well, that wraps up the Kansas City portion of our weekend. Stay tuned for more. We had a fun Sunday and Monday too! :-)
