Jonathan left Afghanistan yesterday (Monday) and here is his final video to us from there. He is in Al Udeed (in Iraq) right now awaiting a flight to Baltimore. If all goes well and on time he should land in Kansas City at 9:40a.m. Friday. To say we are excited would be an understatement!

Oh yes, the Blizzard of 2011 (as the media is calling it) has arrived. Luckily it is supposed to stop snowing tonight so I forsee lots of shoveling in my future the next few days. I do not do well with being stuck in the house (without my husband, too!), but I am trying to keep a good attitude and just enjoy all the playtime Cole and I are having together before his dad gets back. I have a feeling once Jonathan gets back my playtime with Cole will come to a screeching halt. For some reason, his dad is so much more fun to play with than me. :-)
Regardless, I WILL get to the airport Friday!! :-)
