Fall Fun

On Saturday morning we had a birthday party at the pumpkin patch and it was chilly.  I was pretty unprepared for the cooler weather so Cole wore one of my hats to keep warm. :-)

Cole and the birthday boy Ethan.

That afternoon Jonathan and Cole carved the pumpkin.

The finished product.  It's not going to win any pumpkin carving awards, but Cole liked it so that's all that matters. :-)

On Sunday evening we went to our church's Trunk or Treat.  Me and the Hulk!

This boy is silly!

Monday marked me being 20 weeks along.  Can't believe I am halfway there!

Working on Scripture memory.  I am trying to teach him a verse a week.  His little memory is so good right now so this is the time to do it!

Happy Halloween!

Lately

I'm slacking on blogging lately, but this post pretty much sums up what we've done the past week!

Cole had his first field trip!  His preschool class went to the pumpkin patch that is right by our house so we just met them over there.

Cole waiting on his friends to arrive.

His class on the hay ride.

Sweet boy!

Cole and Sam enjoying the hay ride.

Riding.

On Sunday afternoon Cole and Jonathan (and our neighbor Kellis and his daughter Cameron) went fishing.   Cameron plays soccer with Cole and they happen to live one street over from us, but we just now met them!  Kellis' parents have a large, stocked pond on their property so he took Jonathan and Cole fishing.  They were gone for about 5 hours Sunday and had a blast!

They caught several fish including this big one!

Cole and Cameron.

Love these two boys!

Jonathan was excited to bring some of the fish home and fry them up for dinner.  I don't eat fish and Cole was asleep, but Jonathan managed to eat it on his own. :-)

Saturday was our little town's (Caledonia) annual Caledonia Day.  There were quite a bit of people there.  They had lots of vendors set up selling cute crafts and things and they also had lots of yummy food!

Our BBQ lunch was yummy!  We also left with a few fried apple pies and boiled peanuts.  :-)  Not sure why Cole was making this face.  He did have fun there as right after we ate we met up with some of his friends and they played in the bounce houses.

On Monday I let Cole skip school and we took off for Tuscaloosa to run a few errands and then go see Mawmaw and Pawpaw.  We ended up going to the Birmingham Zoo which Cole was excited about!

He had school pictures on Tuesday so I took a quick picture before he went into school.  Handsome boy!

We have stayed busy as usual and things certainly won't slow down as the holidays approach!

It's a BOY!

I went to the doctor today for my 18 week ultrasound and am happy to say that we have one healthy little baby boy!  I have been praying and praying that the baby would be healthy so this is a relief!

Cole and I before heading in.  He was so excited to see the baby, but bummed he couldn't actually hold the baby. :-)

18 weeks today!

Cutest little boy ever!

Cutest husband ever!

Baby Boy...it was very obvious!

He is taking after his dad and brother with his big leg! :-)

Here is a video from a couple of weeks ago when I found out the gender.  I went to Tupelo and paid to find out because I couldn't take it any longer.  I taped Cole when I told him the news though.  He was excited!

We are feeling very blessed and excited to welcome another little boy into our family.  Cole has been so much fun and I can't wait to see the craziness another male brings! :-)  I do like being the keeper of my crown and being surrounded by all the testosterone!

Color Run 2012

5 of the ladies from our squadron headed up to Memphis this past weekend for the Color Run.  I bought my ticket back in June before I knew I was pregnant decided to go ahead and do it anyway.  There were so many people so ended up being color walk anyway.  :-)

My sweet friend Dana and I before leaving the hotel.

We were the girls in tutus. :-)  At first I was really against the idea of wearing a tutu, but it ended up being fun and it helped to spot each other in the crowd.

Kelly, Glenda, Tara, Dana and Me

The line Dana and I (the pregnant gals) had to wait in to use the bathroom. Oh the joys!

The crowd! I couldn't believe all the people!

The gals in tutus!

About to go through color!

Gotta love orange teeth!

And Dana with some color splattered on her face. :-)

All colorful after the race.  We sprayed our shirts with vinegar and ironed them (per the instructions) to try and keep the color on our shirts, but unfortunately most of it came off in the washing machine.  Bummer!

After the race we showered up and then went to lunch at Panera and shopping at Target. Two of my favorites!

We had a fun weekend and I enjoyed spending time with my Ladies of the Knight!

Lately

Last weekend Jonathan took off to D.C. for a 4 days for their squadron reunion.  It was his first time in D.C. and he had a blast sightseeing and taking it all in.

Meanwhile, Cole (and Chloe) and I went to the pumpkin patch for our squadron's "first friday" last Friday night.

The kids had a blast!  This ride was one of many fun things they got to do...we did a corn maze and went on a hayride too!

Saturday morning was opening day for soccer!  Cole was excited for his first game!

At the field!

He is the one running in the red jacket.  It was pretty chilly that morning with a temp of 54 degrees and a nice breeze.  Cole's attention span isn't that long, but he did manage to score a goal!

And I had fun cheering him on!

After his soccer games he and I took off to Alabama to spend a few days with Jonathan's parents.  I figured there was no reason for us to hang out at home alone when family is so close by.

Saturday night we went to Boo at the Zoo.  This was my first time to go and we all really enjoyed it.

Soon to be Aunt Jamie went with us too.

Love my little Hulk!

Cole, Mawmaw, Me and Jamie.

We spent Sunday with Aunt Misty who came to see us from Montgomery.  Somehow I managed not to get a picture though :-(

Fall Pictures

Last week a guy that Jonathan works with (who is in to photography) met us at the Pumpkin Patch to take some family pictures for us.  It has been two years since we had any made so we were due!

He got some really cute ones and I can't wait to print them out!

Sweet boy!

Cole can hardly take serious pictures anymore!

This is one of my favorite!

Oh how this child adores his dad!

Me and my 15 week pregnant self!

Happy Fall Ya'll!  :-)
