Fun times of late!

My friend made her daughter a cute St. Patty's day onesie and she made one for Crosby too! His was a little tight, but I still squeezed him in it! :-)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Sweet sleeping angel.

We celebrated Easter early with friends of ours.  Cole loved dying eggs.

This boy...he is quite the climber...on everything!  I remember Cole climbing too, but I think Crosby may be more of a climber than he was!

Crosby has been doing so good at "baby school".  This is his sheet from the other day.  Glad he is adjusting so well (the first couple weeks were a little rough!).

Riding on his friend Asher's four wheeler.

That's just some random stuff we have been up to lately.

Easter pics

A friend of mine is a very talented seamstress and was contacted by a pattern company to sew a jon jon and she needed a model to wear it and then get to keep it.  When she asked if Crosby wanted to model it of course I said yes! :-)

Here he is in the sweet little bunny rabbit jon jon.  I can't wait for him to wear it for Easter.  His picture even made it on the website for the pattern!

The boys also had Easter pictures made.  These are ones that I took so they aren't professional, but still cute!

12 months!

Crosby is ONE! I know it's cliche, but I can hardly believe it! I am not saying it's sad, I am just saying it was a fast year!  :-)

Here's my squirmy little boy for his last sticker monthly picture.

And here's some of the pictures I took of him last week.  They are by no means professional, but they turned out cute and they were free. I framed several of them in bigger sizes and used them at his birthday party.

He weighs 23 lbs and is 29 inches long.  He is wearing mostly 12-18 month clothes.

He is still not walking, but he likes to cruise around and walk holding on to things or pushing his walking toy.  Cole was walking at 10 months so this seems so late to me.  I guess he is just content to crawl everywhere for now!

He finally has started sleeping all night! Only took a year!  He goes down at 7pm and will sleep until about 5.  I feed him and then he goes back down until 6:30 or so.  He is still breastfeeding, but we are working on weaning. I can hardly believe that I have nursed him for a full year, but I am proud of myself for accomplishing this goal.

He can say ma ma, da da, bye bye, ball and bite (he likes food!).  He goes up to Cole and says "bite" pretty often.  Cole shares with him and it is so sweet.

He pretty much wants to be held all the time.  He will occasionally go play by himself, but it's a rarity. Cole was the same way!  What is it with these boys of mine?

Crosby Stephen you are the perfect addition to our family and we couldn't be more thankful for you!

Spring Break

Last week was Cole's Spring Break so we took off to Alabama for a few days.  We stopped in and visited with Misty and Chris on our way to Mawmaw and Pawpaw's.

We went to Sokol park and let the boys play.  Chris is such a good uncle!

Sweet Crosby.  I guess the sun was blinding him. :-)

Misty is an awesome aunt!  I love how involved she is in our boys' lives.  We look forward to returning the favor for her some day. :-)

Wee!

We went to lunch at the Chicken Salad Chick and it was so good. I will definitely be going there again.  They have tons of varieties of chicken salad.

Crosby thought it was good!

We spent lots of time outside at Mawmaw and Pawpaw's.  Cole and Mawmaw spent one morning raking leaves and then they got to play in them!

Swinging on the swing daddy made before he left.

One night we made a fire and roasted hotdogs and made smores.  It was so good!

Yum!

Enjoying being outside.

Unfortunately Crosby starting wheezing while we there and I didn't bring his nebulizer machine with me.  So it was off to urgent care we went.  Poor guy had bronchitis (again!) so he got an antibiotic, steroid and an inhaler.  That was a fun trip...thankful Mawmaw was there to help!

Then the next day it was off to the zoo. We hadn't been in a while so we were due a trip.  Aunt Jamie met us there so Cole enjoyed that!

Just chilling and watching the animals.

Brothers sharing a snack.

We came back home on Wednesday so I could have my living room painted and get ready for Crosby's birthday party.  We did sneak in a little fun on Thursday though and we met some friends at the new bounce house place in town.  Crosby got to bounce for his first time!

All in all we had a good spring week and it was nice to have a week to relax and have fun.  Looking forward to summer break...I think! :-)

A Dr. Suess 1st birthday!

We celebrated Crosby's first birthday this past weekend with a fun Dr. Suess themed party.  Jonathan calls the boys Thing 1 and Thing 2 so that is partly why I chose this theme.  Plus, there were lots of cute ideas out there!

Crosby sure loves his Mawmaw.

Cole and Chloe had fun in the photo booth.

I LOVE these boys more than life itself!

Smash cake!

So glad Aunt Misty and Uncle Chris could make it to the party!

The food table!

My mom and stepdad also came so it was nice to have them here.  My older sister and her kids came also but it was after the party and I didn't get any pictures. :-(

Ready for cake!

Yum!
Digging in!

All done!

We face timed with daddy during the smash cake.

 Ready for gifts!

He loves phones!

A cool guitar toy from Chloe.

Sweet boy!

A few of my sweet friends.

We had a great party despite daddy being gone.  We miss him like crazy, but life is going on and time is passing.  7 weeks down today!
