Lake Columbus

We had the privilege of spending the day on the lake with some friends on Saturday.  The Erb's (Jason, Chanie & Bodey) have a boat and invited us out.  We actually knew them in Missouri and then they went to Korea for a year and are stationed here now.  It is so cool how small the Air Force really is.

On the boat and ready to go!

Karen, Chanie, Me and Jennifer (who is 32 weeks pregnant and looks GREAT)!  She is the one I hosted a shower for a few weeks back.

Jonats!
Colin, Bodey and Cole

In the water.

Having fun!

They found a "beachy" area (really more rocky), but it was somewhere for the kids to get out of the boat and play.

Not sure what Cole is doing here...

Chanie and Jonathan

We had great, hot weather and it was a perfect day for the lake!

Buffalo Park and Zoo

Friday we took a family day and went to Tupelo's Buffalo Park & Zoo.  It was a really neat place and we found out a local man (who I assume is fairly wealthy) owns this as a hobby.  It started as a buffalo farm where he had over 300 buffalos.  He eventually sold most of the buffalo and started adding more animals to have more of a variety.

About to head in...

Checking out the snakes.

Feeding the pygmy goats.  Oh what I would do to have a yard (or farm!) full of pygmy goats.  I have told Jonathan this lots of times so maybe someday we will.  I just love these little things and they can make great pets! :-)

More goats!

Cole and I with the huge Indian statue.

We will went on a riding tour of the place where we could see the animals up close.

Feeding the buffalo.

The kids getting the feed.

And throwing it in!

Leave it to Jonathan to try and pet the animal! :-)

Feeding the giraffe...his name is Tall Boy and he is the tallest giraffe in captivity.  It was really cool!

Cole and Daddy

Bye Buffalo Park, we had fun!

MUD

My parents have a creek in their backyard and Cole and his cousins had a blast playing in it!  I know it's gross, but what kid doesn't love getting muddy and having a mud fight?  :-)

Jayden slinging mud!

I got one quick smile from them!

Jonathan watching them have fun!

Ready to get hosed off!

Jayden climbing out!

Hose time!

Class of 2012

I can't believe it, but somehow my little sister is old enough to graduate!  We were blessed to be able to spend the weekend in Cleveland, TN and celebrate Courtney's achievement.

We went to Panera on Friday night and it was so good, as usual!

We stayed at the same hotel as Stephanie so the kids go to play together.  I was able to get a picture of them all spiffed up before Courtney's graduation Saturday morning.

My and Jonathan...Cole was too busy playing to take a picture.

Stephanie and my Grandmother BB

Jonathan and Jay dressed alike.  I think they planned it. :-)

There were 290 graduates in her class.  She is in there somewhere!

Stephanie and I.  We are like night and day, but we do have a blast when we are together.  Lots of laughs are had!

Pretty Courtney after receiving her diploma.

Sisters!

After graduation we went to the Japanese Steakhouse, Tako Yaki.  It was good!

Cole and Claire drinking their Shirley Temples.   They thought the umbrellas on their drinks were so cool!

We put Jonathan and Jay at one table with all the kids.  What  a great plan! :-)

Singing to Courtney!

And then it was cake time!

We had a great weekend and hardly got any sleep, but it was worth it.  I'm so proud of Courtney and pray that God continues to bless and keep her as she moves on to the next stage of her life.
