SO Much to be Thankful for!

We had a great Thanksgiving Day spent at Jonathan's parents house (we missed you Misty!).  It was very low-key and nice to just hang out with family.  The weather was gorgeous too so the boys stayed outside almost all day. I think I only saw Jonathan for about 15 minutes while we ate lunch. :-) He loves being in the country and so does Cole!

Here is my handsome boy on Thanksgiving Day.  He had a nice busted lip from a playdate with a friend a few days prior.  It warms my heart to know my child isn't the only rough boy out there. :-)

How am I going to love another one the way I love this guy?  One of my daily prayers for sure is that God will open my heart to have EQUAL love for both of my little guys.

23 weeks, 3 days

So thankful for this man too!   November 19 marked 12 years together!

On Friday morning we did a little Black Friday shopping and then headed to see my sister and dad.  Here's Cole, Maclaire and Bayler playing Uno.  To say Cole had a blast with his cousins would be an understatement!

Silly boys!

Courtney, my mom and stepdad also drove down from Tennessee to see us.   Cole had a great time with his Aunt Courtney too!

Cole and Bayler.  I think these two could pass for brothers!

We have so much to be thankful for and this time of year helps to remind us of just that!

Soccer Closing Day

Cole had his closing day for soccer on Saturday.  He had such a blast playing and I loved watching him.  He is already ready to play again.  Wish they had year round soccer! :-)

Being silly with daddy before the game.

Cole and his buddy, Ryan.

After he received his medal.

The team with their coach, Jaron Andrews.  Cole is on the far right.

Great pose daddy!

I love team sports for kids and think it teaches them such great things...like group effort and it's not all about you.  Cole had a game where he cried because he didn't score any goals, but it was a great teaching opportunity for him.... you don't always score goals and it's okay!

Looking forward to next year already!

Thanksgiving Feast

Cole had his Thanksgiving Feast at school this morning.  It was the cutest thing I have ever seen! :-)  A bunch of 3 and 4 year olds singing thanksgiving songs and praising God really blessed me this morning!

Here are a couple pictures I snapped while we he was singing (there is a video at the end with one of their songs).

Audrey, Ms. Kathy (one of the teachers, but not Cole's), Cole, Evan and Jaiden.

After the singing was done it was time to eat!

Daddy took the day off work so he could be there.

Love him!

They all had their placemats that they had been working on.

Getting ready to eat...ham, green beans, corn and cornbread.

Slowly losing the Indian attire, but he still had a little paint on.

Cole and Preston.  Preston is our next door neighbor and his mom works at the preschool and he and his baby brother go there.   Cole was excited to see him! :-)

A little snippet of their "performance".  Cole was very concerned where his dad was (he had moved to the other side so he could see better to video).  :-)

Cole's preschool has been great and we are thankful for it!

The past week...

We had a great Halloween!  We started out with dinner at a friend's house and then all the kiddos headed out for trick or treating in our neighborhood.

Cole, Hayden and Ava/.

Jessica made these cute pumpkin rice krispy treats.

Cole chowing down on a mummy dog. :-)

My neighbor filled his trailer up with hay, hooked it up to his truck and then pulled all the kiddos around the neighborhood to trick or treat.  It was a great idea and the kids loved it!  Bad picture with my phone, but you get the idea.

I know I've said it lots of times, but this child is attached to his dad...always!

On Saturday we had two birthday parties (we actually had three, but could only make two).  Between church, school, squadron and neighborhood friends, Cole gets invited to alot of parties.

The first was for a school friend Audrey and it was at the local skating rink.

He had fun skating around and did good as long as he held on to his walker.

Cole and his friend Maria (who is his teacher's daughter).  She is in the class next to him at school and they go to church together.

After the skating party we went straight to Bodey's pirate party.

Arrrgghh!

The birthday boy, Bodey.   His mom Chanie is due to have a baby any day now so she was a trooper to throw this great party!  They had a treasure hunt and got to walk the plank. The kids loved it!

Our family.

Taking a rest on the bounce house.

Pirate Jonathan. :-)

A quick prego picture before church Sunday.   21 weeks!

Oh how I love this sweet boy! Can't wait to see the similarities (and differences!) in him and his baby brother.

After church Sunday grabbed a quick bite of lunch on the way home.  Cole kept saying he wanted gas station food (not sure why!) so we delivered.  There is a gas station/restaurant/play place in our town.  This was our first time there and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

A play place in a gas station...only in Mississippi. :-)

And finally, yesterday I took Cole with me to vote.  He kept saying we went to boat or went boating, but I tried to explain it to him on a 4 year old level.  :-)  Either way, he got a sticker so he was happy.

We've had a fun, busy fall and are looking forward to the upcoming holiday season!
