Our excitement...

Or not so much excitement... :-). It has been the same ole' same around here. Jonathan has stayed busy with training to include flying 5 days a week (hopefully he will get finished early if he keeps up this pace), Cole is going to school on Tuesday and Thursday, I am going to Bible Study on Wednesday mornings and then I am studying in between every chance I get.

We did sneak in some fun this week though!

I went to the zoo with Cole, but came home with a zebra! ;-)

I took Cole for a haircut at a place just for kids. It was our first time to do this and he loved it. I can't imagine why (as he is playing video games). :-) Probably our first and last time though...$17 for a kid's haircut is a little steep for me.

All done! She cut it shorter than I wanted, but luckily it grows fast.

We also made another trip to Chuck-E-Cheese. We had tokens left over from a birthday party last weekend, plus a coupon for free tickets so we went to take advantage of that.

Saturday morning my friend Ann and I went to a craft show so Jonathan and Ann's husband took the kiddos to a bounce place. We met up with them when we were finished. Here are Cole and Tandy enjoying a push up pop after they ate lunch.

Yesterday afternoon we got some much needed rain and Cole had a blast playing in it. You can see his excitement in this picture.

And the reason for the bandaid on his head...he was running on furniture in Jonathan's squadron Friday night (after being told to get down) and sure enough he fell off and hit his eye and got some nice carpet burn on his forehead. Hopefully, it was a lesson learned.

Cole and I before church this morning.

After church we made a Costco run and Cole snagged him a 1,000 piece art set. Oh yes, it is full of markers, crayons, stickers, paints and some more stickers! He had a blast with it though!

So glad it is a three day weekend and we have one more family day together tomorrow!
