Mountains

We made a trip to Gatlinburg week before last and had a great time!  We went with our friends/neighbors so that made it even more fun!  Cole and Chloe are BFF so he was in hog heaven vacationing with her. We stayed at a place with an indoor waterpark right next door so that was alot of fun.

When we arrived on Wednesday we took off to the waterpark for some fun.  

We drove through Cade's Cove looking for bears, but all we saw was horses.

We ate lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

And took the ski lift up to ride the Alpine slide.

Poor Jonathan got sick towards the end of our trip so that was a bummer.  Driving home he had chills so he was all bundled up in a hat, gloves and two jackets.  Meanwhile I was sweating. :-)  Turns out he had strep throat so he got an antibiotic when we got home.

All in all it was a really great trip.  Neither of us had been to Gatlinburg in over 15 years so we were due for a trip.  I did decide that traveling with a baby who doesn't sleep through the night is a challenge though.  I think the next trip we take is going to be just he and I.   A belated 10 year anniversary trip, maybe?  ;-)
